The gallery header pictures that have been used over the last couple of years. The majority originally were used in my Fotopic gallery.

30th Nov 2017: The Railway Touring Club tour to ‘The Bath Christmas Market’ was due to be hauled by ‘The Union of South Africa’ but regrtabl, this was now not available. The stand in was LMS 4-6-0 45212 which I had never seen before. The train is captured from the ‘Shallow Wagon Lane’ bridge at Hawkeridge Junction. The line turning to the left is the 1942 built curve that connectts to the Berks & Hants line.
